Hi all! I have a fun Disney page to share with you today. It was for a color challenge over at Disney Scrappers way back in February, and I have had the photos and products  all gathered and sitting on my desk since then, but never got around to finishing the page!

Below is the color palette. Isn't it just lovely? 

And here is what I came up with:

The pic is from our first trip to Walt Disney World back in 2002. You may not recognize the character in the photo with the girls, but it is Jane from Tarzan! We saw her outside of Animal Kingdom, and had no idea that she was such a rare character. The entire resort was celebrating Walt's 1ooth birthday, and so there were a hundred different characters roaming the parks for the special celebration that year only. We were clueless and just assumed she was a regular character! I wish I would have realized it at the time, because I would have definitely taken more photos during that trip. It was our very first trip, there were rare characters everywhere, and I hardly took any photos!

Maggie Holmes CONFETTI

Can you guess what my new favorite product line is? Hands down it is the new "Confetti" collection by Maggie Holmes! Besides the obvious birthday themed elements in this collection like party hats, ribbons and balloons, there are yummy stripes, colorful polka-dots, delicate flowers, shiny sequins, swaggy banners, fun tassels, and touches of gold! ((((Swoon))))

And since I just so happen to know a darling little girl who just had her first birthday, this collection was PERFECT to remember her special day. :) 

Do you remember this page I posted awhile back? This was a "before" pic of Little Miss Chloe! Her super talented mama took the pic and used it for her party invites, which I turned into a scrapbook page: 

And this is  an "after" pic I took at the party: 

Little Miss Chloe made quick work of destroying her pink birthday cake!

Webster's Pages Cards

I have always LOVED Webster's Pages products, so when I decided to make a set of three cheerful cards for the Scraptastic Club Store, I just knew they would work beautifully!

Since I wanted these cards to coordinate and be a "set" (besides the obvious use of matching papers from Webster's Pages), I used four repeating elements on each card: kraft cardstock as my card base, a white doily, b&w baker's twine and a gold puffy heart.

I just LOVE the results, don't you?!

Scraptastic Club's "Can't Go Home"

Do you KNOW what I have in my hot little hands and have been creating with the past couple of weeks? The Scraptastic Club June 2015 "Can't Go Home" main kit and add on! Yup! And I am LOVING this kit! Here are a few pages I have made for Scraptastic: 

I "HEART" NYC

These lettering stickers are so colorful and fun! Definitely a new fave!

I gathered several of the chipboard and acrylic stars from the kit and "sprinkled" them on my page. I stitched the acrylic stars down, rather than using adhesive, because they are slightly transparent and I didn't want the glue to show thru.

So many colorful papers and embellies like this adorable camera!

LET'S GO!

For my title, I used the "LET'S GO" sentiment from this month's phrase stamp set and an exclamation mark from a previous stamp set.

I love the look of  miscellaneous tags poking out from behind, and underneath photos!

This cool transparent tag is from the "Atlas" ephemera pack by Pink Paislee that comes in the kit. There are so many goodies in the pack to choose from!

This "Go.See.Do." die cut is exclusive to Scraptastic Club and can only be found in the main kit.

ACCIDENTAL SELFIE

Using one of the vellum cameras in the kit, I created a mask on my page and stamped tiny circles using the eraser end of a pencil and bright aqua stamping ink.

LOVE how this turned out, don't you?!

I don't usually stitch the thicker alpha letters down, but I really like how this looks, don't you? I think I need to do it more often.

I still have soooooo much product left, and with as much as I travel, you KNOW I will be creating more pages with this kit!

Amy Tangerine & Bella Blvd

For one of my Design Team assignments over at Scraptastic Club, I decided to combined product by Amy Tangerine and Bella Blvd to create two new pages. I think the product lines worked perfectly together, don't you?!

Check out this transparency by Bella Blvd! Besides this aqua blue, it comes in a variety of fabulous colors! 

These chipboard frames by Amy Tangerine were a perfect way to show off these silly selfies by Miss Ashley. 

These gold foil words sold out fast, and it is no wonder! They are my fave!

For this next page, I mixed more product by Amy Tangerine and Bella Blvd.

For the large heart on my background, I used this school-themed transparency by Bella Blvd, and colored in here and there with permanent markers.

I also layered these whimsical floral shapes that I cut from an Amy Tangerine transparency.

Goofy's Sky School

Hello friends! Just popping in to share a scrapbook page I created using the "Playful" line by Authentique. It can be found in the Scraptastic Club Store HERE.

These foam alpha stickers matched the "whimsical" feel of the page perfectly, don't you think?!

I used my Silhouette Cameo II to cut out this cute little airplane from two different patterned papers and then layered it. I created my own loopy "trail" behind the airplane with a black pen. 

After using my silhouette to make these fun little airplane tags, I strung them onto black & white baker's twine and stitched them down across the bottom of my page.

I am also thinking I could use some of my giant hoard of paper punches for this technique as well! What do you think?

Buttermilk Biscuits

Hello friends! How has the summer been treating you? Here in Idaho, it has been hot hot hot! In fact, we have already had a number of wildfires. Not surprising for this time of year out here on the high mountain desert. So besides a couple of weekend trips to Washington and Montana, I have been beating the heat by staying inside and creating away!

For this page, I used photos of Miss Ashley from waaaaay back when, along with the "Made From Scratch" product line by Echo Park found in the Scraptastic Club Store.

I used foam tape to create dimension and then stitched here and there for more texture. 

I LOVE these word/phrase strips from the sticker sheet!

Of course, no page is complete without lots of layers and fun embellishments!

Here's a few cards I threw together with some of the unused odds and ends from the kit when I was done with my pages. Seriously- with a kit this awesome, these cards practically made themselves!

 ((((sigh)))) LOVED this kit to pieces- literally! But now it's time to move on, and I couldn't be happier with a new kit to take this one's place!
