I took this photo of Ashley over the summer when we took her up to U of I in Moscow to tour the campus.
She had just made her final decision to attend college there, and it really struck me that day how her life as an adult is truly just beginning, so I wanted to create this page to document those feelings.

For this page, I pulled out all of my favorite papers from the Scraptastic October 2014 "Heart it Races" kit and add on. I couldn't decide which papers to use, so I figured I might as well use them all! Cutting them into strips and adding them as banners behind the photo worked well without competing with the photo itself.
I also added some of the sequins from the October 2014 "This Life Noted" kit for a bit of girly flair. I think it really adds a bit of fun and whimsy to the page.
