Mid Feb is always a busy time around here. We have Valentine's Day, as well as a birthday! Anna turned 13 today. :) Happy B-day my love!!!
This past Friday, since there was no school for Anna, I took her and three of her friends out for her b-day. All the girls had spent the night at our house the night before where they had pizza, soda and watched movies. The next morning, I made banana crepes with fresh whipped creme, and then it was off to the salon where Anna and her friends got manicures, and then got their hair and make-up done. It was a super fun morning of pampering and all things girly! Then off to lunch at an adorable little boutique/tea house with yummy sandwiches cut into little squares and pink raspberry lemonade. After lunch, and a pit stop for smoothies (and coffee for mom), it was off to the mall where I let the girls loose for a few hours. They had soooo much fun! Below is the page I did with some fun photos from the day. I followed Palette #180 over at Color Combos Galore and it was just perfect for the photos!

Last week was Valentines Day, and since Andy thought he was going to have to work out of town that day, he decided to take me out to celebrate the Saturday before. We had a nice dinner and then he took me shopping for scrapbook supplies! After that, we shot some pool, danced, and even did a bit of Karaoke (just me, of course). During the evening, he got a call saying that he didn't have to work on V-day, so I told him that since we were already celebrating, he didn't need to do anything for me on the actual day. Well, wouldn't you know it, as soon as I woke up on Valentine's day, I walked into the kitchen to find a gorgeous bouquette of white and red roses and gourmet chocolates sitting there for me. The man is amazing! He truly is the love of my life. :)
I followed palette #179 over at Color Combos Galore for this page. The photo I used on the page is frome one of our trips to our favorite winery last summer.
