Okay, so I know it has been a looooong time since I blogged, but this summer has really got the best of me. Been crazy busy working high up in the Owyhee mtns for several days per week in a little old ghost/mining town called Silver City, working at the historic Idaho Hotel doing everything from document and photo preservation/restoration to waiting tables and making beds. It has been sooooo much fun, but by the time I get home at night from the hour-long drive (4WD required to get there, by the way), I am beat. While in Silver City, it is truly like going back in time and living in the old west, but I love it! There is no cell phone service or even electricity for that matter. Everything is run on solar power. So obviously, I do not have internet access to run the laptop to chat with everyone online, but it is always good for the soul to unplug ever once in awhile and not be so dependent on the internet for a social life. :)
This is a very grainy photo I took of my little piece of heaven in the mountains:
Thank goodness I have the next day or two off, and have time to share what I've been creating in my tiny snippets of spare time.
But first I simply HAVE to share the things I created for CHA booth displays using the fab new stuff from Best Creation! It is impossible to truly capture the fun, glittery embossed accents on their papers and products. Photos just do not do it justice. Definitely take a look at their products in your LSS and you will know what I am talking about!
The following were made using the fun and whimsical "Trick or Treat" collection by Best Creation. This is by far the cutest Halloween collection by any mfr out there if i do say so myself! Isn't it just adorable?

And then there is the festive and fun papers, stickers and chipboard in the"Falala Christmas" collection. I especially love the punch of pink, purple and pastel blue that Best Creation added to the more traditional holiday colors of red and green:
