KaiserCraft's Jungle Bug

Seems like every time I finally get a chance to upload projects to my blog, I still don't have time to kick back and relax. There is always a desk-ful of product from different manufacturers waiting to be used,assignments that need to be completed and classes to prep for. The last couple of days have been no exception. Last night I had a class that I taught at Scrappers & Stampers in Boise and it was a huge success! I just loved the ladies who came and hung out with me! The best students EVER! Even though the store did not have the exact same papers as my sample, Mary and the gals at the store helped the ladies pick out different papers of their choosing. This made everyone's project completely different, but fabulously unique in their own way!  

Tuesday morning I received a HUGE box of product from Kaisercraft, and once again, I am soooo impressed with the newest collections. I could not wait to dig in and start creating!

Has it really been a month?

Since my last blog post? Shame on me! Where has the time gone? Well, I'll tell you:

I have been to NYC with friends (yes, during the bungled terrorist attack that evacuated the area we were in), been sick as a dog, and been to a rodeo in Oregon. Throw mothers day in there, two hormonal teenage girl, a 6-mo-old puppy that doesn't get the whole "NO, you cannot pee in the house and eat everyone's shoes" concept and you have the makings of a bad blogger! But I promise you, I have managed to get some work done amidst the chaos and have been able to meet my scrapping deadlines. I even have a class I am teaching in Boise in two days and am as excited as can be! The girls only have a week left of school and the oldest dd has her soccer tourney next weekend and then no more finals, awards ceremonies, practices, choir concerts, etc. Looking forward to a relaxing summer of NO traveling for awhile! Well, except to the girls' various summer camps and visits with friends. Thank goodness of my wine club membership! Nothing like a good Late Harvest Cabernet Franc to help you relax after a hectic week.

I may even get a yard in this year. YAY!!!!!! Grass would be nice, huh?

So I have a TON of fun pics to share from my travels, but first, I want to share my creative musings. I have been busy working with all the latest and greatest products that KaiserCraft has to offer! I swear, getting those goodie boxes every other month is just like Christmas! So this is what I made using the Utopia line. I just LUV the vibrant turquoise blues, bits of purple, and punches of green in this collection!  

 

 

So I could seriously make an entire collection of these adorable teapot albums by KaiserCraft in every pattern under the sun and not tire of them. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these! SO-STINKIN-ADORABLE!

KaiserCraft is known for making high-quality products at reasonable prices, and their stamp sets are no exception! I shared these stamped cards using some of my fave stamps and the Utopia collection papers on the KaiserCraft blog earlier this month.

And then there is the super sweet "Tea At Elsie's" collection. I did this little step-by-step tutorial on the KaiserCraft blog as well. Click on the underlined link for written instructions.

 

 
  

I just loved using all the brightly colored alpha stickers over the top of the chipboard alphas to create the border on the page below about my youngest dd and her love of reading. This is one of my most fave pages ever! It was fun to make the layered flowers out of text papers I printed myself.
