Give A Little Love for Valentine's Day!

I just love hearing from all of you, so I want to give a little love in return. And since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I think I will have a fun little give-a-way to celebrate my love for all of you! :)

A goodie bag filled with some love from the KaiserCraft collection- Made With Love.

For this fun goodie bag, I have stuffed it full of treats like a 6x6 paper pad (which includes 34 sheets of designer paper (some foiled, glittered and embossed) and 4 sheets of punch out die-cut embellies, a stamp set, 2 sheets of rub-ons (one black, one multi-colored), 2 sheets of lightweight chipboard embellies, 3 sheets of alpha stickers, 3 intricate wood flourishes, 6 felt embellies, and 12 lace doilies in three different styles! And cuz I am just sneaky like that, I will have to throw in a few surprise goodies as well!

"Made With Love" Sneak Peeks!

I have really enjoyed working with KaiserCraft's paper line- Made With Love, and I made some fun pages that will be showcased on their blog very soon! 

Besides loving the full-size 12x12 papers, I also love the combination of glittery, as well as foil-embossed papers in their 6x6 paper pads. Everything coordinates together just beautifully in the collection and I am so happy with how my pages turned out! Besides fun felt shapes, there are stamps, rub-ons, letter stickers, ribbon, and lots of die cut embellies in the collection. Below are just a few sneak peeks of my  finished pages:

In the above photo, you can see that the word "love" is foil-embossed in vibrant red onto the patterned paper next to the glittery hearts paper. So shiny!!! Below, the tiny red hearts on the light lavendar patterned paper are also foil-embossed. The photos really do not do them justice. So pretty IRL!!!

Graphic 45 Design Team Call!

It's that time once again, and G45 is looking for some new, fresh faces to serve on their 2010 Design Team!!!

it has been a great year with them, and I will by trying out again for the DT, so we will see what happens! If I am lucky enough to stay on, then I will be absolutely delighted, but if they choose to go a different direction with the DT, and I am not chosen to serve on the team for a second year, then I know it is for the best and whomever makes the team will be very deserving of it! :) They are a FABULOUS company to work with and I just love their innovative products. KaiserCraft Drawer Organizer

Hello all!

I have a really fun project to share! This is my new all-time fave BTP (Beyond The Page) item from KaiserCraft!!! The possibilties are endless with this one- you can paint it, and/or cover it with your favorite papers and embellishments. You are only limited by your imagination!

Since it is still a bit dreary here in the Arctic tundra of Idaho's sagebrush-covered Owyhee foothills, I chose to use the "Made With Love" paper collection by KaiserCraft because of it's bright, fun, springy colors that just make me happy in my otherwise sea of greyish brown! I love this paper collection's combination of reds, pinks and purples with a punch of sunshine yellow. This will eventually be used as a jewlry box for my youngest daughter, but first it has a run as a display at the new scrapbook store in Boise, Scrappers and Stampers Delight. I will be teaching a class there on this project at the end of March, but using a bit more home decor-inspired papers from the "Devonshire" collection below. But more on the class later! (wink-wink)

So much to share!

CHA is over, I have recouperated nicely with a few days of down time to spend with the fam, and now I am ready to get my hands dirty again with ink and glue! I have soooo much fabulous and yummy new product and goodies to play with that I brought home with me and I can hardly wait to start cutting into it! But first, I simply must share some of my things that were in a few booths at the show. I was able to give some fun sneak peeks before I flew out, and here they are in their entirety (finally).

First- Graphic 45 goodness!

The above has a pic of my youngest dd who will be 12 yrs old this month. I know, I know, everyone at CHA was shocked that she looks so grown up. ((sigh))

The next page was photographed ALOT at CHA by the attendees. I think everyone can appreciate a perfectly restored cherry red classic truck- especially if it has a suped up engine for racing! I was lucky enough to be invited to hang out in the pits at Firebird Raceway last fall, and got some amazing shots of old cars restored and painted by my friend, Scott. He is a master at his craft, and an awesome racecar driver as well. The A Proper Gentleman collection by Graphic 45 was perfect to show off these photos. 

 

I went to dinner with the G45 ladies while at CHA and had the best time!!!

The next page was not at CHA cuz I didn't have time to get it done before I left, but I just finished it today, and had to share. :) The product is from the On The Boardwalk collection by Graphic 45. I painted and sanded chipboard letters by KaiserCraft for the word "BUM". I also used one of my fave new products- mini black and white alpha stickers also by KaiserCraft. The background ivory cardstock was spritzed lightly with Tattered Angels Sea Glass Glimmer Mist for a light, irredesent blue color.   

 

Next are photos and pages from my fave NEW company- Scrap Within Reach!!!! I was asked to work in the Scrap Within Reach booth at CHA for a couple of days doing "Make'n'Takes" and am also on the Design Team. I got to spend a ton of time with the owner, Heidi, and she has some fabulous things in store! Can't wait to see where her amazing talent takes the company next! I did some booth displays for her as well using the newest collections- Urban Garden and Cambridge.

The above card was what I did as the M&T for the booth. I prepped and cut product to make 230 cards. WHEW- that's alot of cutting!!!

Here is a pic of me (tall-ish blonde in the back), Elisa (left) and Heidi (owner and artiste' extraodinaire).

Last but not least are the projects and pages I did for the Best Creation booth using their newest product and FABULOUS glitter cardstock! I have seen every kind of glitter cardstock made by every manufacturer in the industry, and the glitter cardstock made by Best Creation is BY FAR the best! I truly love it. if you don't have it in your local scrapbook store, ask them to carry it.

I CANNOT forget to add this pic of my dear friend Cheri Wenger and I. She is just so talented and a FAB roommate! We had so much fun together and I always look forward to seeing her at the show every year. She designs for Glue Arts and is an amazing artist as well as the sweetest person ever! :)

 

I also hung out with my dear friend, and fellow Disney fanatic Tami Bastiaans, (I LOVE her) but stupid me did not get a pic of us together- sorry Tami!!!! Next year we will remember for sure.   
PHEW!!!! That was alot of stuff and pics to upload! I have KaiserCraft goodies I need to start playing with now- can't wait to share those next!!! So no rest for the wicked, I suppose. If you are still reading this, thanks for hanging in there with me and thanks for looking!
