Cards, cards, cards!!

It was card week at Graphic 45, and the blog there is chock full of fabulous ideas by the design team as well as some pretty talented fans of the product. We are so lucky to have so many people loving the new lines and look of the artwork on the papers! 

I have truly enjoyed my time on the DT thus far, and I have to say, the ladies on the team are a fun and talkative bunch of women!!! Their talent just amazes me. They inspire me daily and it is great to have a group from all corners of the globe with an international perspective on the goings on in the industry. Thanks so much ladies!!!

A skunk, a dog, and a princess

So i did a couple random pages recently. I decided to do a black and white page using only one other color, so I used these pretty papers by Best Creation. I love their black and white patterned paper with the hint of soft butter yellow. Such pretty stuff!

BTW, this is my dog, Pepper meeting a baby skunk that my brother rescued after its mama was hit by a car. I am happy to report that the little guy is all grown up and back living in the wild.

  

  

Below is a page with some cute pics of Anna at WDW. I was lucky to get pics of her with these characters from Cinderella. They are very difficult to find! The wicked stepmother was scolding Anna for being nice and telling her how she should try to be more evil. It was so funny to see her character- she was perfectly wicked! Ashley and Andy missed it because they were off riding Space Mountain.

WOOHOO!!!!!! I made the Graphic45 DT!

I just have to share the most exciting news!!! I made the Graphic 45 Design Team! Got the call from Aimee yesterday afternoon. Such a sweet person she is! She and I chatted for quite awhile at CHA in Anaheim in January, and she cracks me up. it will be a kick in the pants to work with her!

Thanks for all the congratulatory e-mails I have already received from so many of you right after it was announced yesterday. 

I am just amazed that I was chosen as one of the 6 new designers! Over 200 people tried out for a spot- so i know the competition was tough. I am glad I did not have to go over all of those submissions and chose. Please take a look at their site and their blog, and see what I am talking about. Some amazingly talented gals in this group, and definitely THE company to design for! I can't wait to get my box of product and get to work! I just LOVE their vintage-inspired designs and textures. And if anyone has been to my house and has seen how I decorate nearly every square inch, you will know that this is right up my alley. I swear that their booth displays in Anaheim could have blended right into my home decor. So this will be a natural fit for me to create things for them.

Here are a few sneaks of the things I created for my submission. I cannot reveal them in their entirety until they are shown on the G45 site and/or blog.
