So the weather has turned quite icky, and I have been stuck inside getting over a nasty cold. In fact, I can see the Owyhee Moutains from my office window and there is a skiff of SNOW on the tops already!!! BLEGCK!!! So what does one do when one finds themselves stuck inside on a gloomy, blustery day? Scrapbook, of course!
And scrapbook about things that make one happy.....like shoes! But not just any shoes, I am talking bright, fun workout shoes. Makes the workouts more enjoyable, don't you think?
LIFE IS SO GOOD
For the background, I hand-cut a large butterfly, stuck it down with re-positional adhesive, and misted it using "sea glass" glimmer mist by Tattered Angels. After removing the butterfly, I drew around the edges with a light grey pen, then splattered green and grey paint onto the page. LOVE the "mist/splatter" look.
The papers are from the Cocoa Daisy September kit "He Said, She Said" as well as a couple from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy "5th and Frolic" collection. (a new fave!!!)
So that is my little bright spot for the day. :)
