So much to share! As the puppies and I settle into our daily routine, and Ellie gets tired of treating them like giant chew toys and covering them with dog slobber, I am finding a bit more time to scrap, thank goodness!!! The time between floor moppings to clean up "accidents" is getting longer, and for once, I did not have to clean up after puppies today...teenage girls, on the other hand, is another matter entirely. I look forward to the day that the puppies can "hold it" a bit better, and can give me better signals to when they need to go out. I have trained many-o'-dog, so I know it is just a matter of time and patience.
So here's a couple of pages I've completed the past week.
I took this pic of Ashley last weekend at a park in Boise, and here is the color palette I followed over at The Color Room:
I think I did an okay job considering this was a difficult palette and I am not a huge fan of these colors (reminds me of a velveteen couch we had growing up. It was a very trendy piece of furniture at the time, but i really hated that couch). I would normally make a list of manufacturers products and provide links to the challenges, but since no one reads this thing anyway, I am not going to bother. I will, however, add the link to the Sketch Savvy blog that I used a sketch from cuz Suz rocks and I don't feel right about not giving her credit: www.sketchsavvy.blogspot.com
If you want to know the exact sketch, and don't want to dig thru Suz's site to guess which one I followed, just drop me a line and I will let you know which one it is.
So here are the close up pics:
And a quick card with the same palette using some scraps I had lying around on my desk:
Thanks for looking!
